Is your attitude making you healthy......or sick?

"The only disability in life is a bad attitude"
- Scott Hamilton

If you want to live a healthier life, this is where it all starts - Attitude. You will never take the necessary steps to build the required disciplines to become and stay healthy if you don’t have the correct mindset. This includes your attitude about life, about the world, about others, and about yourself!

You may have noticed how closely health and happiness are linked? This is because when you are living a healthier life, you are experiencing a higher quality of life. You’re benefiting from more energy; you’re showing yourself love and respect; you’re fighting disease; and living a longer life all while simultaneously improving your mood.

The principles of being healthy are actually very simple, but following them on a regular basis is very difficult. It's hard to live a healthy life. There are obstacles everywhere: sugary junk foods that taste better than broccoli; reality TV that is easier to watch than reading a book; sleeping in rather than hitting the gym. This is why attitude is the number one key. Because when you have the right attitude, you will overcome these obstacles and make healthier choices for your life. Maybe not every time, but in the long run you will win. And that's all that matters.

Do you want to hurt because you got up at 6am and went to the gym, or do you want to hurt because you are so unfit that you can't run around with your kids and enjoy their childhood with them?
Decide today that you will treat yourself better, because you deserve it! And then you start to enjoy life even more. And when that happens, something magical occurs - people around you become inspired to be healthier and happier.

You must find YOUR reasons to be healthy, though. Don't do it because I am telling you to or because your family or spouse said you should. If you do anything because someone else told you to, you will never follow through and you will fall victim to the whirlwind of distractions that are coming for you every hour of every day to try and knock you off your course. You have to want it!

Now here is some good news - you don't have to be perfect. Not even close! If you just take one small step every day toward living a healthier life, it works like compound interest. You'll be making ever-growing investments instead of withdrawals. You'll wake up one day in the future, maybe 10 years from now, and you'll love what you see in the mirror. You will love who you have become!

One last thing, go easy on yourself. You're not going to ever have perfect health. You will make some poor choices. That's called being human. Learn from your mistakes, grow, and get better the next day.

Chiropractic And Risks - Can An Adjustment Actually Cause A Stroke?

There is constantly false information being spread about Chiropractic. But the reality is we have a safety record that is the envy of all other health and medical professions. Chiropractic And Injury Prevention

As research performed in the last few decades has shown, Chiropractic is known to change & improve various aspects of nervous system function, including motor control, brain reaction times, and brain cognitive processing (the speed with which our brain processes information). So, it makes sense that if any of these areas are lacking then you should be at greater risk for injury, especially when we are talking low back injuries (due to how important brain control is over the vitally important spinal muscles). We know that if you can’t activate your trunk and core muscles before rapidly moving an arm, this can potentially result in a strain or sprain of the low back. This is known as the feed forward mechanism - if our spine doesn't first stabilize properly before we move our limbs then we greatly increase our risk of injury at the spinal level. These injuries usually start as microscopic injuries that we don't even notice but like everything else they continue to b...
