Detox and Die-Off: The Herxheimer Reaction

If you’ve ever tried to treat chronic health issues and experienced a major 2-3 day flare-up then you’ve probably suffered from a Herx reaction. This reaction occurs due to whatever organism you’re killing (parasites, Bartonella etc) suddenly releasing toxins into your bloodstream. Common symptoms include: Headaches, skin breakouts, fatigue, nausea, joint pain, and general flu-like symptoms. It can happen at any time, but happens far more commonly if you’ve started treating the toxins before effectively opening up your drainage pathways. This is why it’s so important to treat chronic health issues in the right order! If you do experience a Herx reaction, immediately stop taking whatever the “killing” agent is to let the reaction clear. Then reassess if you’ve opened up your drainage pathways enough to continue the killing phase. Or maybe you just need to add more binders, or sweat more consistently. You’ll also want to make sure you're feeding your mitochondria with enough ene...

How To Manage Chronic Illness

In the Western world we have a sick care system, not a health care system. Thi means that anyone suffering with chronic complex medical illnesses are often lost in the system. They either hear “we can’t find anything wrong,” or even worse get told “it’s all in your head.” What makes matters worse, is often the people suffering badly with these issues can look “normal” on the outside. But their internal symptoms are almost unbelievable - chronic fatigue, brain fog, skin sensitivities, terrible gut and bowel symptoms, crippling anxiety and depression, major sensitivities to light, smells and sounds and so on. So most people don’t believe them when they talk about this, so they just stop sharing and either try to battle it out on their own, or even start to believe people and ask the question “Am I crazy?” Well, the good news is you aren’t crazy and you can heal from this mess. You need to do the right testing to get to the root cause of your issues, then treat the body in the right or...

How To Manage Parasite Infections

There’s a simple test to see if you have parasites. Got a pulse? Then yep, you have parasites! In all seriousness though, it’s now estimated that around 85% of people have parasite infections. When I work with people who are chronically sick, they virtually all have parasites. In fact, the Top 3 root causes I find are Mold, Lyme disease, and Parasites. They deplete the immune system, starve us of vital micronutrients, and we need to get rid of them. But that’s hard to do because they’re experts at hiding from our immune systems by coating themselves in biofilms. You can do quarterly full moon cleanses like I talk about in this episode, but if you’re suffering from chronic health issues then you need to make it a priority to spend some time getting rid of ALL of the parasites, not just some. From Overweight To Elite Athlete - With Coach Allan

While vacationing at a tropical resort in Mexico before his 39th birthday, Allan started a game of beach volleyball and after one game he had to sub out. Once an athlete, poor lifestyle choices had left him obese, out of shape, and miserable. As he sat on the beach, he realized he needed to make a change. He decided to improve his lifestyle and reclaim his fitness. Over the next eight years, he rode countless waves of weight loss and gain. Being over 40 made weight loss much more difficult. When he did lose weight, he couldn't keep it off. This rollercoaster ride, losing and regaining the same 20 - 30 pounds over and over made him realize that a decision alone was not enough. One morning, while lying in bed in a hotel room, hungover and fat again, he made a commitment to his health and well-being. And that single moment changed everything. Over the next 11 months, Allan lost over 55 lbs. He capped off the change by completing a Tough Mudder with his 21 year-old daughter. Of cour...
