Why do I always get sick? Is it just bad luck?

Have you ever wondered why some people can be in a confined public space like on a plane and they get sick as soon as someone sneezes, yet someone else can be seated next to a person who is coughing up a lung for the entire 4 hour flight and they never seem to get sick at all? Are some people just unlucky? Did they inherit bad genetics from their parents and grandparents? On that note, if your parents seemed to catch every cold and flu that was going around, does that mean you are doomed to the same fate? What if I told you the good news is that no one reading this blog right now is doomed to get sick every time "flu season" rolls around. If you want to avoid getting sick, then it is actually as simple as this - do more things that increase the strength of our immune system, and do less things that decrease its strength. That's it!
