What's your one word?

Have you ever started a new year and set yourself a bunch of amazing goals, only to forget about all of them before the year is even a quarter of the way through? Once the whirlwind of life takes over, it's so easy to fall back into old habits and see all our dreams blown away like a tornado sweeping through a town.

How do you stop this happening? By choosing just one word. It seems way too simple, but let us explain. There's a book titled "One word that will change your life" that only takes 45 minutes to read, but will give you all the necessary tools to discover your one word for the year.

Why is having one word so important? Because when the stress of life begins to take over your world, you need something to get you back on track.

You will be able to simplify your life, your relationships, your job, everything, by focusing on just one word for the entire year. While this concept seems too easy to dismiss, you will be amazed at the life change it can lead to.

You see, clutter and complexity lead to procrastination and paralysis (and therefore no action towards your goals). However, simplicity and focus lead to success and clarity and results.

So every time life gets you off track, you don't need to remember all your goals or a bunch of affirmations, you just have to remember one simple word. Everyone can manage that, no matter how busy they are!

And when you find the right word for you for the year (or the word finds you), you will be amazed at how powerful it will be in keeping you focused and on track.

Once you find your word, make sure you then display it in places you will see it. Write it on your wall, carry it on a piece of paper in your wallet/purse, make it your computer screen saver or phone wallpaper.

Just make sure you see it constantly and it will be the powerful reminder you need to stay on track and achieve all your goals and dreams that you want to achieve this year, no matter how busy or stressful your life gets!

Please share your word below to inspire others!

Chiropractic And Injury Prevention

As research performed in the last few decades has shown, Chiropractic is known to change & improve various aspects of nervous system function, including motor control, brain reaction times, and brain cognitive processing (the speed with which our brain processes information). So, it makes sense that if any of these areas are lacking then you should be at greater risk for injury, especially when we are talking low back injuries (due to how important brain control is over the vitally important spinal muscles). We know that if you can’t activate your trunk and core muscles before rapidly moving an arm, this can potentially result in a strain or sprain of the low back. This is known as the feed forward mechanism - if our spine doesn't first stabilize properly before we move our limbs then we greatly increase our risk of injury at the spinal level. These injuries usually start as microscopic injuries that we don't even notice but like everything else they continue to b...

How To Manage Acid Reflux

The combination of heartburn, GERD, and acid reflux together are one of the most common health issues in the world. This means they’re also one of the most commonly medicated groups of health issues. But, is the approach to treating acid reflux correct? Is it actually due to too much stomach acid, or is diet and lifestyle a bigger issue? In this episode I examine what the research actually shows about lifestyle, medications, and acid reflux! Check out this episode!

To get surgery or to not get surgery... That is the question!

In this episode we have created our first mash-up. We have taken some clips from our more popular Facebook live videos to give you a ton of information in one short audio format. We discuss disc injuries; when you should and shouldn't get cortisone injections or spinal surgery; when to get knee surgery; what to do for carpal tunnel (and again when to get surgery) and loads more. We hope you enjoy this episode! And if you do, please don't hesitate to tell your friends and family to subscribe to our show! And as always, thanks for your attention. Check out this episode!
